Whateverlife

When I was 17, I was anxious about giving a speech at my high school graduation. Ashley , creator of Whateverlife is a business entreprenuer who earns thousands of dollars every month. She doesn't even have her license!

This summer, Ashley's pals--from left, Shayna Bone, Bre Newby, and Jen Carey--will also be her employees.

This is a success story, plain and simple. Coming from parents who were not college-educated, she took a hobby and weaved it into a tapestry of her talents, strengths and passion for creating a community for teenage girls.

I have heard of whatever life before, but I never knew who created it and what drove them to produce it. After reading this article I was completely shocked that the talent and success came from a 17-year-old girl who took an idea and transferred it to a level that is beyond an enterprise.

Last year in my junior year of college, I took a class on online journalism, and learned the basics of Dreamweaver, HTML and the specifics on websites and how to make them appeal to a user. I was extremely confused and frazzled that I would not understand it. This girl learned it all in her basement.

Knowing the effort, dedication and patience it takes to create a website, I cannot imagine the knowledge that this girl holds in the palm of her hand. At first glance, I thought this was a spoiled brat who has a million dollar franchise, but after taking another look, it truly is a success story.

This girl:

1) Took her ideas and creativity to new levels
2) Manages her own website and has her friends as colleages
3)Learned how to manage her own money and is taking classes on business and advertising
4)Used the techniques of Online Advertising to appeal to a mass audience
5)Understands the integral parts of her business and is constantly reshaping it

She has no idea of the potential she has. The respect and admiration that she has learned from people around the world, business entrepreneurs, advertising executive and girls her age is phenomenal. If she keeps at it, she will have not only started a cultural phenomenon, but given a voice to people her age who rarely have on in such a competitive market.
To learn how to create your own successful website, like Ashley's, take some advice from professional web site creators.

It almost makes you wonder who came up with all those other pages with MySpace layouts and whatnot.. I bet there are a few more just like Ashley who could be making some big money if they're doing it as well as she is!!!!

It is so crazy to think about the potential that this girl could have! As the Myspace popularity continues to grow, so will her bank account. Yep, I'm jealous.
